Back to school

We are so excited to be back to school!!! Claire is starting the 3/4's class this year!! We are all pumped about her moving up to the "big" class and learning so much more this year. She is excited and loves her teacher already. YAH for the new school year. Hard to believe it's here already. So proud of Claire and how happy she was to be in her new room today!! =) And as my friend Kelly said so perfectly...I couldn't help but high five a few moms that school was back in session Monday morning.

You can't say we didn't try...

Family pics are seriously impossible. A) Paige won't look at the camera and smile at the same time B) Claire seems to always want to try a "new smile" right at picture time OR C) the conditions (ie: the wind, sun, eyes closed, etc...) mess it up! Eric's hair looks like Dumb and Dumber! All he needs is his chipped tooth.

The girls and I had a summer trip to Grandma's house in Texas!! Here are some highlights of the trip!!! We jammed a lot in to 10 days! There are lots more pics on Shutterfly. We had a great time with the fam and it was awesome to see the cousins play together. My niece and nephew, Abby and Cy, were so adorable. The first pic is my bff since I was 5yrs old, Kaylan. She just had her first baby a few weeks after Paige was born and we simply had to see him! Baby Findley is so darn cute. I miss him so much! It was a hot and sweaty Texas summer but fun. Thanks Grandma for having us and keeping the girls so happy!

The flight ~ To Grandma's Part I

This was my flight. The "dream team". Paige being a baby made this the perfect age to fly with 2. I was of course worried about the flights and having my hands full. This is what I got.........2 perfect angels. The guy who was sitting next to us on our flight to Houston moved to another open seat. He said he "wanted to give us our space". Haha! We were very appreciative! I actually ordered a snack pack and flipped through the sky mall magazine at one point because I was bored. Thanked my lucky stars!!! Lots of strategic planning paid off big time!

KA-CIAO!!

Claire at her first movie ever!! CARS 2! Ka-Ciao baby!! She is a big Cars fan so this was the perfect first movie for ou girl. (lovin the filmore t-shirt!!)Claire rode a pony!!! MY GIRL...who does NOT like to ride on things that move threw me a curve ball and got on the horse. So brave. So proud!!
